Scouts and Scouters in Pack 28 wear the official Scouting America uniform and an activity uniform.
The Field Uniform consists of the official Scouting America uniform shirt and patches, neckerchief, Scout pants/shorts/skorts, Scout belt, Scout socks, and Scout hat.
The Activity Uniform consists of a Scouting America related t-shirt (commonly the Pack 28 t-shirt), Scout pants/shorts/skorts, Scout belt, Scout socks, and Scout hat.
Uniform Shirt
Lions (K) wear the Lion t-shirt with no patches.
Tigers (1st grade), Wolves (2nd grade), Bears (3rd grade), and Webelos (4th Grade) wear the blue Scout uniform shirt, pants, and belt.
Arrow of Light Scouts (5th grade) wear the khaki uniform shirt and olive green belt.
Uniform Patches
Den Number: Ask Cubmaster or Committee Chairman before purchasing
Neckerchief: each Scout will be given a Pack 28 neckerchief and neckerchief slide (woggle) upon registration and payment.
Note: Official BSA neckerchiefs/slides and hats are also available.
Scout belt
Scout hat (optional): a Pack 28 hat is available for purchase.
Scout pants (optional): switchback pants or girls roll-up pants, shorts, or skort.

It is sometimes appropriate for Scouts to wear an Activity Uniform / Class B uniform, which allows Scouts to be more comfortable, but still recognizable during an activity or outing. The Activity Uniform is consisting of a Scouting-related t-shirt (commonly the Pack 28 t-shirt), Scout pants/shorts/skorts, Scout belt, Scout socks, and Scout hat. Pack 28 t-shirts and hats are available for sale.

Patches are worn on the left pocket of the uniform after they are earned. The first rank earned by the Scout should be placed at the top (North) location, followed by the West location, East location, and South location.
Scouts who join in the first grade year and earn the Wolf badge should wear their rank patch in the North position and Bear rank patch in the West position, when earned.
